Eluru Urban Development Authority ELUDA

The Eluru Urban Development Authority (ELUDA) is constituted under section 3 & 4, Chapter-II of Andhra Pradesh Metropolitan Regionand Urban Development Authorities Act, 2016 on 1st January 2019 with its jurisdiction extending over Eluru Municipal Corporation, Six Municipal Town namely Tadepalligudem, Tanuku, Palacole, Narsapur, Jangareddygudem & Bhimavaram and Three Nagar Panchayat’s namely Thiruvuru, Akiveedu and Chintalapudi including 272 villages, comprising an area of 6658.20 Sq. Km with Eluru as its headquarter.

The ELUDA region is one of the strategically located region of West Godavari District(Erstwhile) and Andhra Pradesh State. It makes a substantial economic contribution to the District and the State in several aspects, and it is anticipated to continue to play a major role in the days ahead.
